This is The Official Team GB One Quarter Ounce 24ct. Pure Gold Lion Shaped Coin. Obverse: Taking on the new Team GB branding with cuboid structures, the British Lion, the Logo and the Mascot of Team GB is seen facing forward. Reverse: featuring the official Team GB logo, with the lion, and the Olympic Rings. Below the logo is the Gibraltar Coat Of Arms. Height 55.32mm, width 53.86mm, 7.78g, 24 carat Gold, Finish Proof Like, Year of issue 2024, Mintage 950. No 35. It is unique in it's format, so making this unusual shaped coin a talking point and for the collector something different to enhance their collection. Have searched on line but could not find this item anywhere else. The London Mint was selling one but only as a one tenth of an ounce coin. I believe sold out now.
