Fathers' Christmas Presence - Holiday Contact Fund

Christmas is audited in contact disputes like no other date in the year, and for thousands of fathers it is the hardest shift on the calendar: the school nativity they were not told about, the Christmas Day that belongs to the other household by order, the gifts bought in October because December's money is already spoken for by the settlement. For men in supervised contact - the price so often extracted mid-dispute - the holidays mean one observed hour in a community-centre room with a stranger taking notes on the love in the room. This fund buys holiday contact hours and makes them real ones: supervised centre slots over the Christmas fortnight, wrapped presents that arrive with the father's name on the tag rather than 'from the fund', and the handover-tax travel costs that decide whether a dad appears at all. Each £8 entry funds a sixth of one supervised holiday slot; every six entries buy one father one hour that his child will actually remember. Tonight's target: sixty holiday slots across twelve centres. At the session we decorate the contact room on camera, read the thank-you letters from last December's funded fathers (with consent), and light the tree board - one ornament per slot funded. The children asked for their dad. Fund the hour he gets to answer.
