How to build a marketplace without programming

Plan categories, seller standards, payments and content quality before publishing a no-code marketplace with OmniList.

Start with a narrow market

A focused marketplace is easier to explain, moderate and promote than a collection of unrelated listings. Define the buyer, seller and transaction you want to support first.

Create operating rules

No-code removes software work, not marketplace operations.

  • Define accepted categories and prohibited content.
  • Require complete seller identities and public policies.
  • Set review and dispute standards.
  • Decide how stale, duplicate and expired listings are handled.

Publish evidence, not claims

Use real screenshots, accurate feature descriptions, verified reviews and attributable case studies. Avoid invented testimonials or performance claims that cannot be checked.
