How to bulk-import listings and events

Choose the correct template

Listings and events use different schemas. Start with the template downloaded from the relevant OmniList dialog, because required columns and accepted values can change as features are added.

Import safely

Use a two-stage import: first a small representative batch, then the remainder after checking the public output.

• Keep a unique source identifier in your own working copy.
• Use one currency and date convention per batch.
• Do not alter template header names.
• Resolve every rejected row before retrying the full file.

Maintain the catalogue

Export current records before a large update. This gives you a recoverable reference and helps distinguish an intended update from an accidental duplicate.
